Folkes Electrical Construction has a staff of service technicians who are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to respond to your emergency needs. We are extremely responsive in facilitating emergency repairs necessary to restore power to systems and to make repairs needed to bring your facility back, up and running until permanent repairs can be made. Often permanent repairs can be made on the spot. We have a staff large enough to handle almost any issue and because of our relationship with local distributors, we are able to access materials after hours and on weekends.

Health care facilities have requirements that other environments may not have. Folkes Electrical Construction knows that while working in health care facilities, it is important to honor and respect patients, doctors, and nurses. Many health care facilities are around the clock operations; therefore it is vital that all work be coordinated through the staff to maintain an atmosphere that disrupts the area as little as possible.

Folkes Electrical Construction is well versed in the installation X-ray, MRI, Laser, and other specialized equipment. We are keenly aware that when an Operating rooms or MRIs are out of service due to remodel or renovation, bringing them back on line on time and as quickly as possible, minimizes the loss of revenue and service to patients.

Folkes Electrical Construction has been working in government agencies for years. Having proper clearances and background checks for our workers has never been an issue. Folkes Electrical Construction has performed work in agencies such as the Virginia State Dept. of Tax, Dept. of Professional and Occupational Regulations, the State Capital building, and the Governors’ Mansion. We have also performed work in military facilities such as Fort A.P. Hill and Fort Lee.

Folkes Electrical Construction is sensitive to the specific needs when working in institutional environments. Often times while working in these environments, there are stringent procedures that need to be followed while working in these facilities. These requirements have been put in place by the customer and are there to protect either product or personnel.
